Our Five Day Residential Programs are provided free of charge to serving and ex-serving Defence personnel and first responders with service-related trauma.
It costs approximately $25,000 to bring one Five Day Residential program to life.
We are asking 90 supporters to help us fund the February 2027 program by choosing a Bronze, Silver or Gold level of tax-deductible support.
Every donor will receive a limited-edition Horse Aid pin as a symbol of their commitment to stand with those who have served and the ex-racehorses at the heart of Horse Aid.

Most importantly, it allows every eligible participant to attend free of charge.
Two journeys
Horse Aid brings together serving and ex-serving Defence personnel and first responders with Thoroughbred ex-racehorses beginning life beyond racing.
Some participants come to Horse Aid looking for a different way to manage the impact of service-related trauma.
The horses are also learning to adjust, rebuild trust and move forward in a leisure horse career. Through patient, hands-on horsemanship, people and horses work through that process together.
Neither is expected to have everything figured out.
Both are given time, support and another chance.

If all 90 pins are claimed, together we will raise $25,500.
That is enough to fund the February 2027 Five Day Residential Program.
