Kangaroo Valley Charity Horse Ride a Wonderful Success!

We would like to thank all our friends and supporters who made the 2024 Kangaroo Valley Charity Horse Ride such a wonderful success. Around 65 horses and riders registered which is an incredible turnout!

There were so many donations of food and supplies from the Kangaroo Valley community, volunteers donated their time and businesses donated prizes for the raffle. Then there were local property owners who not only provided access to their properties but also flagged wombat holes and other hazards and marked the trail to ensure the safety of our horses and riders.

The Cumberland Club of the Australian Trail Horse Riders Association, St John Ambulance, trail bosses, Kennards and James Cameron who provided the port-a-loos, DJ Tino for entertaining the masses, the Friendly Inn for hosting meals and providing reserved marquee, and the Lions Club doing breakfast. We would especially like to thank Nicole Schwegler from the Kangaroo Valley General store and Newsagent. Horse Aid cannot do what we do without donations and days like this play a big part in helping with fundraising.
